TATTOOZONE - Tattoo removing (2025)

We have been removing tattoos since 2008. We use high-performance laser approved by the Hygiene Station of our region. This type of laser device is currently the most modern tattoo removal solution and is used mainly for low risk of scars or hypopigmentation of skin (white areas).

Tattoo Zone has unique technological equipment here. We also take advantage of cryotechnology, which makes tattoo removal almost painless. We are also able to remove green and blue pigments with the help of special heads with wavelengths of 585nm and 650nm, which ranks us among the top workplaces in the Czech Republic. As one of the few, we can also remove eyeliner along its entire length.

Finding the most effective way to remove unwanted tattoos or permanent makeup has been the goal of many specialized companies and experts around the world for many years. Currently, the best system is both a nanosecond Q switch Nd. YAG laser, so its more advanced version, picosecond laser. The Tattoo Zone laser center in Krnov has these devices.

HOW THE NEODYMIUM LASER WORKS:

In order to understand the principle of how the laser works, it is necessary to first understand the principle of the tattoo itself.

When applying a tattoo and PMU, the pigment is introduced with a needle into a specific layer of the skin - the joint. The body considers this pigment as a foreign substance, but is unable to get rid of it naturally. Both tattoo and PMU ink molecules are simply too big for that. The body then reacts by covering the pigment with collagen and thereby fixing it in the skin.

As tattoos and PMUs become more and more popular, the need to modify or remove them has also logically increased. Q switch lasers are considered by dermatologists to be the most effective and safest way to remove tattoos and PMU. They do not cause burns, hypopigmentation, or tissue scarring.

The Q-Switch Nd YAG laser is an intelligent non-invasive laser device that generates highly intense light pulses. Each pulse lasts just billionth of a second (nanosecond laser) and for picosecond laser lasts one billionth of second. It is a process in which photoacoustic and thermal energy is directed at the pigments, which are then broken down into microparticles. These broken particles are then eliminated naturally by the lymphatic system of the human body.
This process usually takes 6 to 8 weeks as the tattoo gradually fades.

Lasers operate at different wavelengths and frequencies. Each of them is designed for a different color and layer (depth) of the skin. For example, black and other dark pigments are best removed because they respond to all wavelengths.

NUMBER OF SESSIONS, CONTRAINDICATIONS:

The number of sessions depends on many factors.

For complete tattoo removal, we assume 5 to 10 procedures, but it can be more than 10, or even less than 5. If the existing tattoo only needs to be lightened due to its overlap with a new tattoo, 3 to 5 procedures will probably be enough.

It depends on the age and state of health of the client, on the type of skin, age and location of the tattoo, as well as on how well the tattoo is done and with what pigment. Older (10 years and older) and amateur tattoos with low-quality color are the best to remove.

The tattoo is removed in layers. So it takes many more sessions to remove solid areas, or outlines, than areas that are only lightly shaded. The pigment is absorbed much better in areas that are more blood-supplied. Therefore, it will take longer to remove a tattoo on the fingers or toes than, for example, on the chest.

TENDERNESS:

Regarding the pain, it is most often compared to the pain of the tattoo itself. However, it can be significantly reduced by cooling with a cryo-device. The perception of laser pulses can be compared to "shooting a rubber band into the skin."

SKIN COOLER - the most modern method of cryotechnology

TATTOOZONE - Tattoo removing (2)

At Tattoo Zone, we use the benefits of cryotechnology during laser tattoo removal to cool the skin in the treatment area, using the SKIN COOLER device, which generates a cooling air stream with a temperature of up to -30°C. This technology has several advantages that will greatly improve the comfort of the client and minimize the side effects of the procedure.

Key aspects of cryotechnology:

  • COOLING OF THE SKIN : Cryotechnology enables active cooling of the skin at the treatment site, which reduces the thermal effect on the skin due to the laser energy.
  • PAIN MINIMIZATION : Cooling reduces discomfort during the procedure, which improves the overall comfort of the patient and the whole process is almost painless.
  • TEMPERATURE CONTROL: Devices with cryotechnology allow precise control of skin temperature, which is key to effective treatment.
  • MINIMIZING REDNESS: Cryotechnology helps to minimize swelling and redness after treatment, speeding up the healing process.
  • ENABLES MORE INTENSIVE TREATMENTS : Cooling allows for longer and more intensive treatments, which is important when removing more complex tattoos.

CARE:

Clients who lead a healthy lifestyle are at an advantage. The immune system, which is not burdened by various toxins such as alcohol and nicotine, then works properly and can fully devote itself to the degraded pigment. Therefore, I recommend to my clients plenty of movement and sleep, a drinking regimen and at least twice a day the lasered site should be lightly massaged and at the same time lubricated with Balm Laser cream or La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5. A break of usually 6-8 weeks is recommended between individual procedures.

CONSULTATION:

If you are considering to remove an old or inappropriate tattoo, feel free to contact us and book a free appointment. For larger areas, it is possible to request a free trial of removal of a small part of the tattoo.

REMOVING A TATTOO / PERMANENT MAKE UP:

The laser allows unwanted tattoos or permanent make-up to be removed or lightened to make it easier to cover up with a new, better tattoo. Laser surgery is very fast and slightly painful.
-
Tattoo pigment is in several layers of the skin, so the laser beam has to remove it gradually.
For amateur tattoos, it is necessary to complete at least 1 - 3 sessions.
For a quality tattoo, it is necessary to complete a series of at least 4 - 8 sessions.
Removal of the tattoo is a long-term issue and it is recommended 5 weeks pause between interventions.

Q-SWITCH: YAG LASER

The laser beam, which works at wavelengths of 1064 and 532 nm, penetrates deeply into the skin.
The result is the separation of the tattoo pigment into smaller fragments, which are removed by the immune system.
This process can take several months. After a few months the remaining pigment disappears completely from the skin. The surrounding skin does not react to the beam and is not damaged. So you don't have to worry about burns or scars. Because of this principle it is possible to remove even deeper or very detailed tattoos.
(Especially black, brown, gray and blue colors are well removable.
Green, yellow and orange are worse removable.)
